CHICAGO – The start of the Cincinnati Reds game Saturday night against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field has been delayed by rain. The Cubs say they expect first pitch at 10:35 p.m., EDT.
The game was scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m.
That would make it the second-longest rain delay of the Reds season (3:55 on April 3 in Philadelphia).

The Reds (25-32) beat the Cubs (28-30) in Friday’s series opener 5-4. It was the Reds’ fifth win in seven games.

Hunter Greene, who is 3-2 with a 3.06 ERA, was to face Cubs left-hander Justin Steele, who is 0-2 with a 4.45 ERA.
Greene has been the Reds starter for three of their four longest rain delays this season, previously lost 7-2 to the Brewers on April 10 and getting a no-decision in a loss to the Orioles on May 3 after pitching 5 2/3 scoreless innings.
