Just because you’re no longer dating someone, doesn’t mean you can’t surreptitiously use their Netflix login to continue binging your favourite shows. Right?

That’s exactly what one woman did – disguising her actions with such a clever trick that her ex-boyfriend wasn’t even mad when he did find out.

The unnamed woman changed her profile picture on the Netflix account screen to a loading wheel and her account name to ‘Settings’.

Apparently, the trick worked so well that her ex didn’t figure out the truth for months.

Posting about the fact on Twitter, the user @yellowgengar2 explained how it happened.

He explained: ‘My brother’s ex had been stealing our Netflix for the past two months now by disguising her account as “settings” and honestly I ain’t even mad.

‘I’m just really disappointed in myself for actually believing that an account named “settings” would legitimately be Netflix settings.’

The twee has blown up with many commenters applauding the woman’s subtle trickery.

‘Remember In school when the teachers used to say, not everyone can be academic, some have to find there own version of being smart….THIS is one of those versions!’ one replied.

Even Netflix itself responded to the tweet. The streaming giant simply commented: ‘Respect’.

If you’re ever unsure of who might be lurking inside your Netflix account, you can check the associated profiles by logging into your account and clicking ‘manage profiles’ from the drop-down menu.
