Delhi police filed an FIR after two masked men allegedly opened fire at the door of a hypnotherapist’s apartment in the Sidharth Nagar area of the city. The incident took place on Sunday at the apartment of hypnotherapist Sohail Siddiqui in the Sunlight Colony police station area of south-east Delhi.

“Information was received about the shooting outside Sohail Siddiqui’s house at 7:30 am on Sunday, after which a police team was dispatched to the location,” the senior police official said.
According to the initial investigation, it was found that the attackers had fired two shots at the door of the hypnotherapist’s apartment, and as they left the building, they fired three shots again at the window of another house located on the ground floor.
According to the official, after reviewing the CCTV footage, it was discovered that the two assailants arrived on foot and went to the first floor, where they knocked on the door.
“However, no one responded. One of the individuals then fired two shots at the apartment door before escaping to the ground floor. Downstairs, they fired three rounds before fleeing towards the railway underpass and Bhogal market,” the official said.
