With the Taliban controlling Afghanistan, it’s safe to say there are almost exactly the same conditions, if not worse, than those “that preceded 9/11,†says Mary Kissel, who was a Senior Advisor to former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Speaking to Sky News Australia host Sharri Markson, Ms Kissel discussed the latest events unfolding in Afghanistan and the recent US withdrawal from the country.
Ms Kissel said she was “deeply concerned” when questioned as to whether Afghanistan may become a terror stronghold once again.
