Consultant Psychiatrist Full time – Permanent Post
Location: Low Secure Mental Health Unit, Gormanstown, Co. Meath
We are currently seeking applications from Consultant Psychiatrists interested in joining Ireland’s first independently operated secure setting.
The post holder will form part of the multi-disciplinary team at Tearmann House, consisting of the Clinical Director, Junior Doctor, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Therapist, and other allied professionals where required, such as Speech and Language Therapy and Dietitians, to enable high quality and safe services for the individuals we care for and support.
Candidates must demonstrate the necessary interest, capability, performance, and enthusiasm in line with the requirements of this role.
Essential Criteria required for the post:
- Full Registration (general and specialist) with the Irish Medical Council
- In good standing with the Irish Medical Council
- Ability to work as a part of multidisciplinary, multi-model team
- Full Driving Licence
- Knowledge of the MHA 2001
