The minimum support price of cotton would increase production and bring stability in the market, stated Federal Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam stated on Thursday.Â
While chairing the meeting for cotton intervention price, Fakhar Imam stated that the current government has been committed to facilitate the cotton farmers across the country, in light of a decline in cotton production over the past few years.
The meeting had advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood along with other senior officials in attendance.
