Common Man officials said they don’t know the extent to which The Flying Monkey was damaged and that they are awaiting word from fire officials. “We are seeing an outpouring of support on social media, and we appreciate the care and concern for our beloved venue, staff, guests, and The Common Man family,” The Common Man Family said in a statement.That section of Main Street was blocked off as crews from multiple communities battled the fire at the Downtown Pizza building. The building’s roof appeared to be significantly damaged. It’s not yet known how the fire started.
