Todd was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries on May 3 after his attacker stabbed him in the neck, hands and arm, and shot him to death.
Nearly two weeks after the incident, his family announced today that he had been released from the hospital.
“Ian was released from hospital last night (Monday May 15) and is now recovering at home with his extended family,” said a family statement issued by police.
“He is still on the long road to recovery, but we are delighted with his progress.
“We are very grateful to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia Police, our families, friends and the public for their continued support. We are especially grateful for the incredible medical care Ian has received.”
Allely was also hospitalized in the attack.
