Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said on Tuesday that industries play an important contribution in building an advanced Himachal Pradesh and the state government is bent on providing better facilities for the industry and also addressing its problems quickly.

He said that procedures are being simplified to establish industries in the state and attract maximum investment.

He further added that the government is taking concrete steps to secure time-bound section 118 approvals for industries. “For this, an Investment Office is also being established, through which all investment approvals will be obtained at one place,” Sukhu said.

He chaired the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Himachal Pradesh-2022-23 Annual Convention and the convention was organized on the theme of next five years development agenda to Himachal Pradesh.
