Diablo’s first new class since 2014 is a cool-looking vampire warrior

On July 6, Blizzard announced the first new Devil class in nearly a decade, confirming that a vampire-themed Blood Knight class is coming to the mobile spinoff immortal devil on July 13. This is the first new class introduced to the franchise since 2014, when the Crusader was added in Diablo IIIThe first expansion of: Soul reaper.

Released last year, immortal devil not a favorite among Devil gamers and hardcore gamers in general. In particular, many have drawn attention to the mobile game. annoying and predatory loot boxes and microtransactions. Yet millions of players continue to log in every day to play the amazingly fun action RPG. I still play immortal devil from time to time, mostly ignoring crap while enjoying the brainless monster slaying that has always been a staple of the long-running franchise. During a live stream on thursday, Blizzard revealed the first details from the upcoming Blood Knight, which he describes as a “mid-range class” that uses melee or ranged attacks “depending on their proximity” to enemies.

“This vampire slayer feeds on the life of enemies, traps them in deadly shadows summoned with cursed force, and relies on his trusty polearm to keep him out of harm’s way,” Blizzard explained on its official website. “And if all else fails, they may succumb to the unholy abomination within themselves that is vying for control of their humanity.”

What is a Blood Knight?

In the tradition of DevilVampires bite humans and turn them into mindless and dangerous slaves. However, the Knights of the Blood are people who were bitten by vampires, but who avoid that fate by using a magical artifact that keeps them connected to their humanity. Even so, all Blood Knights will eventually become slaves. Before that happens, they work together to track down and kill vampires and to offer others who have been bitten a choice: join the Blood Knights or die. As expected, they can use their vampiric powers to help them in combat.

Blizzard says that on July 13 immortal devil players will have three ways to play as the new class. Option 1: You can create a new character and select “Blood Knight” as your class. Option 2: Players can use immortal devilclass change function to transfer your character to the new class. Blizzard will temporarily remove the cooldown on class changes so that everyone has a chance to become a vampire knight, if they so choose.

Finally, players can test drive the new class through a limited-time event: the Crimson Plane. During the event, everyone can play as a Blood Knight and will be able to earn Blood Knight cosmetics and other items by completing the event.

More on the official Blizzard website You can read more about Blood Knight, including details on all of his abilities, attacks, legendary items, and more. There is even a short story. you can read that it relates to the lore around the new class and the world of Devil.

Will the Knight of Blood be added to Diablo IV?

Of course, the question most players have is probably something along the lines of “Okay, great, but will this new class (or other classes) be added to Diablo IV?” Maybe.

Before today, when Blizzard announced all the details about Blood Knight’s arrival in immortal Devil, the players had already found references to class inside Diablo IV. They may just be teasing the new class coming to the mobile spinoff, but maybe Blizzard was hinting at something else. It is possible that the study, which has pledged to support Diablo IV in the years to come, it will eventually bring the vampire-themed warrior to the new game.

Until then, you’ll have to play immortal devil starting July 12 to see the franchise’s first new class in nearly 10 years.
