DNA test identifies minor girl found dead | The Express Tribune

KARACHI:

The decomposed body of seven-year-old Ayesha Gulalai, found without clothes and stuffed in a sack near a wedding hall on Mehran Highway in Quaidabad on August 19, has been identified through DNA testing.

Ayesha had gone missing from Quaidabad on August 13. At the time, police showed her family the unidentified body recovered from a drain, but they failed to recognise it.

Then-SHO Quaidabad Gulzar Tino had said that the body was shown to the girl’s family, but they could not identify her.
