‘Doesn’t feel safe’: Meghan Markle having second thoughts over UK return

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is having second thoughts over her return to the UK alongside Prince Harry and their children, a royal insider claims.

Markle is rumoured to be joining her husband and their two kids Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, ahead of the 10th Anniversary of the Invictus Games.

“He feels like they have been away from the UK for far too long and wants to start building a life here. Not full-time, but a second home they can visit regularly,” the insider said.

According to the Herald Sun, an insider revealed the Sussexes are planning to leave for the UK on May 7 for Harry’s service at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

Prince Harry’s recent legal battle loss to the UK Home Office saw the withdrawal of the Duke’s state-funded police protection.

According to the Herald Sun, ahead of Harry’s UK return, he does not want a low level of security protecting his family.

This has led to Markle fearing for her and two children’s safety ahead of their potential UK return.

“It’s now got to the point where Meghan doesn’t want to come to the UK with the children,” the insider said.

“She just doesn’t feel safe.”
