One-month-old staffy cross Jay Jay was snatched in the early hours of Sunday morning. Then on Monday night, dognappers pinched his sister, Sun.
It’s believed the suspected thieves distracted Jay Jay and Sun’s parents before swooping on the pups.
The staffy cross puppies were born to guard dogs at Malaga Automotive Service and are part of a larger litter.
The calculated and cruel theft has devastated the owners and affected the stolen dogs’ mother, Ace.
“She didn’t eat anything,” the puppy’s owner Nasisch, who asked to be referred to only by her first name, told 9News.
“We tried different food for her, we took her out. But she didn’t eat.”
In a bid to protect Sun Nasisch tried to get her microchipped early, but by the time the appointment rolled around it was too late.
They want the pups back and are willing to pay any price as a reward.
“We just need them to be back,” Nasisch said.
