Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will not play on Sunday against the New York Jets because he remains in concussion protocol, coach Mike McDaniel said on Monday.

Tagovailoa suffered the injury last Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals and was stretchered off the field.
The head injury came four days after the quarterback’s head hit the turf hard in a win over the Buffalo Bills.
