Despite his ties to the Carlson gaslighting attempt, Trump Jr. acknowledged what was happening as events unfolded on January 6.
Meadows said he was “putting pressure” on Trump to do so.
“We need an Oval Office address,” Trump Jr. responded. “He has to lead now. He has gone too far and it has gotten out of hand.”
Critics of the former president’s son responded to his tweet by noting that Fox News is already being sued for $1.6 billion for its other false claims related to the 2020 election and its aftermath.
