Baltimore Police Investigate East Baltimore Shooting That Left Man Critically Injured

BALTIMORE —

Baltimore City police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night in the Oliver neighborhood of East Baltimore.

According to preliminary information, officers responded to the 1500 block of East Lafayette Avenue for a reported shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot to the upper body.

The man was transported to an area hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
