Elderly man dies after slipping, falling on top of moving car

An elderly man has died in hospital after he fell onto a slow moving car at the drive through of a takeaway restaurant in Adelaide’s inner south.

The 89-year-old man from Kingswood slipped on the kerb before hitting his head on the Toyota sedan that was exiting the drive through at Melrose Park at about midday on Wednesday.

The man was taken to Flinders Medical Centre with minor injuries but died late Thursday morning.
