Elizabeth Hurley, 55, and her older sister are proving their age-defying genes in a stunning bikini photo.

The British actress took to Instagram on Friday to share a throwback photo of herself and her older sister Kate Curran, taken this summer while the two lounged in pastel paisley-print string bikinis from the star’s Elizabeth Hurley Beach line.

“Me and my glorious sister during lockdown this summer, flying the Elizabeth Hurley Beach flag,” Hurley wrote in the post. “When we were growing up, we were always dressed in identical clothes but in pink or blue, so we secretly still love matching.”

Hurley and Curran are close friends. In 2018, when Curran’s then 21-year-old son Miles was physically attacked in London, Hurley took to social media to urge the capture of his assailant, calling Curran an “amazing mother.”

“I was the first person my nephew called, because he knew if he called his mother she’d leap into her car and career up the motorway to him and he was scared she’d have a crash,” Hurley told Hello! later that year. “Even when he was almost unconscious on a stretcher, he thought of others before himself. He’s a great kid and I couldn’t love him more.”

Hurley has spent most of this year hunkering down with her family in England. “We feel like the family in the seventies TV show The Waltons,” she told Hello! in April. “There are nine of us. I have my whole family here, including my mother, an aunt and a friend who has severe respiratory problems. I am completely paranoid that I won’t be able to keep them safe, and I haven’t let anyone leave the house apart from me. I just nip out to local food stores and wear a mask and gloves. I’m terrified of bringing the virus back to my vulnerable guests.”

The actress has also been working hard. Earlier this month, she spoke about the rigorous health precautions that were taken on the set of two recent films.

“We had a wonderful COVID officer on Father Christmas Is Back and lots of nurses who took our temperature every day and administered weekly COVID tests. All the crew wore masks, so to this day I wouldn’t recognize any of them,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “Working in Latvia on The Piper is a similar situation, although the COVID situation is less severe here. I never leave the hotel without a mask and, again, have no idea what most of the crew look like.”

In November, actor Hugh Grant, Hurley’s ex-boyfriend and the godfather to her son Damian, revealed he had COVID-19 back in February, calling his symptoms “very strange.” Like many COVID-19 patients, Grant lost his sense of his smell.

“By then people were just starting to talk about this as a symptom,” Grant told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. “And I started sniffing flowers, nothing. And you get more and more desperate. I started sniffing in garbage cans. You know, you want to sniff strangers’ armpits because you just can’t smell anything.”

He added, “It started as just a very strange syndrome where I kept breaking into a terrible sweat. “It was like a poncho of sweat, embarrassing really. Then my eyeballs felt about three sizes too big and this…a feeling as though an enormous man was sitting on my chest, Harvey Weinstein or someone.”

Grant has since recovered. “I’ve had an antibody test, only a month ago,” he told Colbert. “I still have those antibodies, so I know that’s what it was.”
