Emergency services scrambled as crash shuts major motorway sparking long delays

Emergency repairs are required after the central barrier was damaged in the crash at Junction 20, National Highways has said.

Crews are assessing the damage, while both directions remain closed. Delays have now reached around 90 minutes, with eight miles of congestion on the approach.
