Entire train line suspended as horror fire engulfs area – National Rail warning

Landmann Way is in Deptford, south-east London, and is home to a number of waste and recycling operations.

Industry publication letsrecycle.com reports that the street is home to sites operated by SSSI Ltd, Quantum Waste, Hinkcroft Transport Ltd and CD Waste.

Another major fire broke out at a waste facility on Landmann Way on June 8, causing widespread rail disruption.

However, it has not been confirmed that the June and August fires affected the same facility, only that both incidents occurred at waste facilities on Landmann Way.

The site of the June blaze is believed to have been operated by SSSI Ltd.

The fires are also not thought to have occurred at Lewisham Council’s Household Waste and Recycling Centre, which is located further south along Landmann Way.
