Estonia asks China for cooperation over severed Baltic Sea telecom cables

VILNIUS, Oct 23 (Reuters) – Estonia has contacted Chinese language authorities within the investigation into the reason for how two Baltic Sea telecom cables have been severed, the Estonian overseas ministry mentioned on Monday.

“Estonia has been in touch with Chinese language authorities to encourage cooperation regarding the investigation”, a ministry spokesperson mentioned in an e-mail to Reuters.

He added that Estonia wished to encourage “any cooperation crucial for the investigation”.
