Oct 22 (Reuters) – The European Union is contemplating extending an emergency fuel worth cap launched in February, amid fears the battle within the Center East and sabotage of a Baltic pipeline may push costs up once more this winter, the Monetary Occasions reported on Sunday.
The European Fee mentioned there was “no indication of destructive results” because the measure had entered into pressure and that pure fuel costs have been now nearly 90% decrease than final yr, the report mentioned, citing a presentation to EU diplomats.
