PARIS (Reuters) — The European Union mentioned on Wednesday it will start an anti-dumping investigation into biodiesel imports from China, which the bloc’s trade says has slashed home manufacturing.
In August, it started investigating whether or not biodiesel from Indonesia was circumventing EU duties by going by means of China and Britain. The most recent investigation, prompted by a criticism from producer group the European Biodiesel Board (EBB), will cowl the interval from Oct. 1, 2022 to Sept. 30, 2023.
