Eugenio Chacarra reached a new career high in the Official World Golf Ranking after his win at the 2026 DP World India Championship. “Last round was tough. Really tiring waking up three days in a row 4:00 AM My body wasn’t there. I didn’t feel good. It’s hard to go in a big lead. You don’t really want to push but you want to, guys making birdies. So it was something that I knew didn’t happened before and it was a new experience, but really proud of my short game and how I grinded and stayed patient,” Chacarra stated on Sunday, October 18, after winning the trophy.

His latest victory at the DP World India Championship reflects the level he believes he can achieve.

“I work really hard. I got a great team surrounding me. They pushed me. My family, everyone back home, they’re always trying to make me better. I think we been doing a great job with our and obviously it’s paying off. Really thankful for it. Like I always say, we need to keep working because that last round wasn’t what I wanted it to be.”
