Sept 12 (Reuters) – European shares rose slightly on Tuesday, following the previous night’s gains on Wall Street, while Britain’s export-focused FTSE 100 was supported by a weakening pound following the mixed report. of the UK labor market.

The FTSE 100 (.FTSE) gained 0.3%, while Europe’s STOXX 600 (.STOXX) added 0.2%.

Sterling fell slightly after data showed working market weakened even as wage growth remained strong in July, painting an unclear picture ahead of the Bank of England’s rate decision next week.
