The EU’s high diplomat Josep Borrell provided his condolences to Iran after what he described as a “terrorist assault” that killed 95 individuals throughout a name Wednesday with Iran’s overseas minister.

The assaults stay unclaimed however Iran has blamed Israel and the USA.

Borrell spoke to Iran’s International Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian “to convey condolences following the horrific bombings at this time in Kerman that killed dozens of civilians”, the EU’s overseas coverage chief mentioned on social media.

“I condemned this terrorist assault within the strongest phrases and expressed solidarity with the Iranian individuals,” Borrell added.

The blasts, about quarter-hour aside, struck close to the Martyrs Cemetery on the Saheb al-Zaman Mosque in Kerman, Soleimani’s southern hometown, as supporters gathered to mark his killing in a 2020 US drone strike in Baghdad.
