donald trumpThe baffling “red button” message addressed to the governor of Florida. ron desantis (R) left even those closest to him at least a little stumped.
“I don’t really know what you mean”, daughter-in-law lara trump admitted the foxnews Thursday.
The former president launched a series of angry and, in some cases, downright bizarre messages after DeSantis announced he was challenging Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
But most perplexing may have been the “red button” message.
Trump wrote in his social truth website: “’Rob’, my red button is bigger, better, stronger and it’s working (TRUE!), yours isn’t! (According to my conversation with Kim Jung Un (sic), from North Korea, he will soon become my friend!) ”.
That seemed to be a reference to a 2018 tweet from Trump directed at the North Korean dictator kim jong un advising that his nuclear launch button “is much bigger and more powerful than yours, and my button works!”
But no one knows how she is related to DeSantis, although Lara Trump, who is married to eric trumpgave him a stab.
“I’m assuming he means Truth Social was working and Twitter clearly wasn’t,” he said. “And that maybe it was a little mistake when you have such a hyped launch in your presidential campaign to try something new. I guess you have to give Ron DeSantis credit for that.”
