Shedding light on his unusual casting choice, Hansal Mehta said, “We were shooting in Kandivali at a location which is Jagruti’s (Deven Bhojani) mom’s shop. I called Pratik, who lives in the back lane, to come by. He came to the place by bicycle. We chat. Out of the blue, I asked him if he would make a little passing shot. He nodded without blinking. It is the story of a Mumbai-based journalist whose life is turned upside down after she is arrested on false charges of murdering a rival journalist.
