Abhishek Bachchan Leading Role the great bull, which launched on Disney+ Hotstar in 2021, was loosely based on the real stockbroker Harshad Mehta. Directed by Kookie Gulati, the film also starred Nikita Dutta, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sohum Shah. Last year, Anand Pandit, who produced the film with Ajay Devgn, announced a sequel to the film.

In an exclusive chat with bollywood hungamaAnand Pandit shared the reason why he came up with the sequel to the film, saying, “We got a great response for the great bull in OTT. Because of this, we feel like this could be a sequel and a regular sequel because a lot of financial crime keeps happening around us. I feel that movies should be made to expose these crimes and their masters. So, we feel that we are going to collect the great bullthe value of the brand.
Pandit has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in films like face and Done Mahilao Maate. the great bull it was his first time working with his son Abhishek Bachchan who played the lead role. “He is a very simple and down-to-earth human being,” Pandit said. “He is also a very sensitive and cultured person. We all know that he is one of the best actors in the industry. We all feel great working with him. It was one of the most pleasant experiences.”
When asked if Abhishek will be a part of the great bull sequel as well, Pandit said, “We haven’t decided (on the cast) yet, but we definitely will (the sequel) with it.”
