“F*** Donald Trump”: 50 Cent says he “never liked” Trump after Chelsea Handler publicly scolds him for endorsing president

Rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson III, claimed he “never liked” President Donald Trump after his ex-girlfriend comedian Chelsea Handler publicly scolded him over his support for the Republican president.

During an interview with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon on Friday, Handler explained why she publicly criticized her ex-boyfriend for supporting Trump.

“So he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent in taxes because he doesn’t want to go from ’50 Cent’ to ’20 Cent’ and I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook,” Handler said.

Jackson shared a clip of Handler’s interview to Twitter on Saturday night, alongside a cryptic statement.

“A what, another spin. F*** Donald Trump, I never liked him,” the rapper wrote. “For all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed but that’s history. LOL.”

Jackson also tagged Handler and Fallon in the tweet. It is unclear whether the statement was made to mock Handler’s remarks. Newsweek reached out to 50 Cent representatives for clarification.

The rapper on Monday endorsed Trump while sharing an analysis graphic showing that Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden‘s tax plan could cost wealthy New Yorkers.

“WHAT THE F***! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT,” tweeted Jackson. “F*** NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f***ing mind.”

The graphic that Jackson shared was taken from the CNBC program Power Lunch and included figures from a Tax Foundation analysis of Biden’s plan. It concluded that the top one percent of earners in New York City could face a combined tax rate of 62 percent.

After she scolded Jackson on Fallon’s show, Handler revealed that she “hasn’t heard back” from her ex-boyfriend since she tweeted at him on Tuesday. “You used to be my favorite ex-boyfriend,” she wrote following Jackson’s endorsement of Trump.

“Oh my God this is effecting my love life now. @chelseahandler I love ya Gator, don’t let Trump and Joe Biden come between us girl. #starzgettheapp,” Jackson tweeted in response.

Handler also offered to “seal the deal in more ways than one” if he decides to follow her advice to publicly condemn the president. “I might be willing to go for another spin, if you know what I’m talking about,” the comedian told Fallon.
