Seen in a Nvidia leak All the way back in 2019, it looks like Square Enix is really cooking up a remake of the PS1 classic. final fantasy IX. Jeff Grubb from Giant Bomb supported the claim after receiving reassurance the project is still going on since last month, but over the weekend, it seems the report has taken on a life of its own. Some outlets have expanded on the rumor to indicate that the new version will use an “ATB turn-based system”. The problem is that Grubb didn’t even say this.
