Firefighters Rescue Man from North Canadian River

OKLAHOMA CITY –

Oklahoma City firefighters rescue a man from the North Canadian river following a single vehicle accident. Police tell us they were called to an accident at NE 122nd and Westminster Rd around 1:30am. When they arrived, officers determined they couldn’t reach the victim and called the fire department for help. Guided by drones, firefighters located the victim and were able to pull him from the river. News Tracker Stephen Owsley spoke with the victim who told us he got lost and his GPS took him the wrong way. He says he walked for hours in the brush before he was rescued.
