First ever Int’l marathon race takes place in Karachi

For the first time ever in the metropolis of Karachi, a marathon race of 42.2kms was organized under the banner of Sea View Runners Club (SVRC) on Friday.

Entitled as ‘Kashmir Day Marathon’, SVRC ensured the provision of services meeting all international standards. Moreover, it started from port city’s sea view area and ended in DHA Phase 8 with 80 athletes, who ran in four laps to finally finish it. 

As per the details of the marathon, Mohammad Amjad emerged victorious by completing the total distance in 2 hours and 55 minutes whereas Rehan Adamjee remained runner-up and Faisal Shafi bagged third position.
