Islamabad: At least five people were killed and 20 others injured when a bus overturned in Pakistan’s Punjab province on Sunday.
The accident occurred when the bus driver fell asleep and the vehicle turned tortoise, Dawn said, citing district rescue service manager Aslam.
The bus, carrying devotees of a Sufi saint, was returning to Jacobabad from Sakhi Sarwar.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital, from where the severely injured were taken to the Rajanpur district hospital.
