Fox News’ Pete Hegseth Admits Bud Light Boycott Gone Wrong

Hegseth and his right-wing channel have gotten in on the takedown of Budweiser because it teamed up with Mulvaney, a transgender actress who documented her transition on TikTok. in a Bud Light social media post, Mulvaney promoted the beer during March Madness and mocked its lack of sports knowledge. He then showed a can of Bud Light made with his face on it.

But a conservative uproar led to a boycott of Bud and financial fallout for the beer brand. Hegseth, completing “Jesse Watters Primetime,” he told viewers he was pleased to see the results for himself in a New York Yankees game with colleague Will Cain over the weekend.

“There was nothing more satisfying than seeing coolers full of untouched Bud Light, usually the best sellers,” Hegseth said. “We all drank a local IPA beer instead. So did most of the others.

But then he was hit by reality with the force of an Aaron Judge home run.

“Now I was going to make a big deal out of this, proud of where we stand, until the producers of ‘Primetime’ told me that the local beer we were drinking is actually owned by Anheuser-Busch,” Hegseth said, referring to Bud Light. mother company. “No wonder I feel a little weird today.”

Hegseth admitted that “we have lost this battle but we can win the war against Big Busch.”

The company has attempted to improve the beer-raising reactionaries with a bland apology and a commercial drowning in hackneyed patriotism. But it looks like Fox News and others will continue to foam at the mouth over one beer company’s small attempt to be more inclusive.
