A National Lottery player may be holding a ticket worth a fortune today, with the Lotto jackpot worth £9.5million. The Lotto draw is taking place at 8pm, and tonight’s jackpot “must be won”, as it has already rolled over five times.
Lotto rules dictate that, after the fifth rollover, if there isn’t a winner, the jackpot must be dished out in the following draw. If no player matches all the numbers, a rolldown occurs, and the entire sum is split among everyone else who wins a prize. Tonight also sees the Thunderball draw with its £500,000 jackpot. It will be carried out at 8.15pm.
