LONDON, Aug 17 (Reuters) – A strike at Britain’s Gatwick airport planned by ground handlers for this weekend has been called off after Red Handling workers received an improved offer, the Unite union said on Thursday .
“Our members will now decide if the agreement on the table meets their expectations,” the union said in a statement.
Unite said future strikes, scheduled for Friday August 25 through Monday August 28, will continue if workers reject the wage offer.
