Several people were injured in a attack in the German town of Schongau in Bavaria, police said on Wednesday.
They added that they had “arrested a suspected perpetrator,” and that the number of people involved and the severity of the injuries were currently being clarified.
The incident occurred at the Welfen-Gymnasium. Authorities urged locals to avoid the area.
Schongau is a small town with more than 12,000 residents on the Lech river in western Upper Bavaria.
