WASHINGTON—Google Chief Government Sundar Pichai tried to beat again accusations of unfair dealings with fellow tech big Apple as he testified in his firm’s high-stakes antitrust trial.
Pichai described a relationship with Apple full of stress and “moments of distrust” as authorities attorneys questioned him about negotiations with executives on the iPhone maker. Google and Apple have each made compromises to maintain the partnership alive, Pichai stated.
