The Interior Ministry has put a ban on Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 on Thursday.
The ministry has issued a notification in this regard.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said Thursday that another summary for the dissolution of TLP will soon be submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had already given approval to the summary following days of violence across the country in which at least two policemen lost their lives and scores were injured.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will de-notify the religious party.Â
