Govt to initiate mass awareness campaigns on usage of EVMs: PM

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, on Friday, directed government to initiate a mass awareness campaign on usage of  Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

While chairing the meeting on use of EVMs in Islamabad, the premier emphasized on the benefits of using the transparent and rigging-free system of polling across the country.

Moreover, he also shared his views on the judicial commission’s proposed legal amendment regarding the use of EVMs.  

It is pertinent to state here that the PM Imran concluded the meeting by informing public the aim behind using EVMs is to introduce transparency in polling system of Pakistan.
