Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton show unity amid ongoing split rumors

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton brushed aside divorce speculation as they put on an united front for a lowkey outing together in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The 56-year-old Hollaback Girl singer – who recently offered a veiled response to the split rumors – was spotted picking up a few items at the Italian market Eataly with the country star, 49. The couple – who tied the knot in 2021 – have been embroiled in split speculation in recent months, which sparked up partially due to the pair not attending major award ceremonies. Shelton had also dropped a breakup track titled Hangin’ On back in March – which he later expressed had ‘no reflection’ on his relationship with Stefani.

The songstress kept it stylishly casual in a plain white shirt as well as denim jeans and a tan coat layered on top. She slipped into a pair of brown boots while her blonde locks flowed down past her shoulders in light waves. Shelton also sported a pair of classic blue jeans as well as a dark green button up and cap on top of his head. Their latest outing together comes as sources told TMZ that the two stars are ‘completely baffled’ over the split speculation. The insiders also told the outlet that Stefani and Shelton don’t know where the rumors began and that their relationship still going strong. Both music artists recently celebrated Thanksgiving together with Stefani’s loved ones in Los Angeles. A separate source also told People in an article published on Tuesday that Stefani and Shelton are ‘solid’ when it comes to their marriage amidst the divorce speculation. ‘There is no truth to the split rumors. They’ve just been juggling demanding schedules. When they are together, it’s just so obvious how solid they are.’

Daily Mail has reached out to Stefani and Shelton’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back. The insider added that the two stars ‘spend a lot of family time together and really treasure that, and then there are periods when the focus is more on work. ‘They’re both at a place in their careers where they still genuinely enjoy what they do and they don’t want to give that up. Is it easy all the time? Of course not.’ The source further told the outlet, ‘They have a lot on their plates and a lot to balance, but that’s just how it is when you’re a family and both parents have careers.’ Both music artists have filtered through a busy schedule this year, with the performers dropping albums. In March, Stefani released the deluxe version of her 2024 album Bouquet with Shelton dropping his 13th studio album For Recreational Use Only two months later.

The Just A Girl songstress is mom to Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 11 – whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale . Upon tying the knot with Stefani in 2021, Shelton – who was previously married to Miranda Lambert – became stepfather to her kids. Earlier this month, a separate source told the Daily Mail that Stefani and Shelton are like ‘every other couple’ who have been married for nearly five years. ‘Things are pretty good with them, certainly not as dire as the rumors,’ the insider said. ‘They are having to be a lot more intentional about spending time together and keeping in contact.’ The pair have experienced ‘a few bumps in the road’ which was due to ‘their busy schedules.’ The source added that Stefani and Shelton still have an ‘off-the-charts’ physical chemistry after first sparking up a romance in 2015, and the stars have been ‘keeping the spark going’ since then.

Last week, the No Doubt member made an appearance at the premiere of Oh. What. Fun. in NYC and seemingly shut down rumors of a split between her and Shelton. She she strutted on the red carpet at the event, she wore several rings that the country star had given her. And while stopping by the Today show a few days later, the Don’t Speak singer gave insight into her holiday plans with Shelton. ‘We’re doing all the regular stuff,’ she said. ‘Blake and I, we just bounce back and forth between Oklahoma constantly. This December, we’re going back there, and then we’re going to bounce back to L.A.’ The star added, ‘We just had Thanksgiving. We had two of them. It’s been a blessing to be able to do that.’

‘We’ll do more of the bouncing back and forth, back and forth. I love it. Oklahoma, this time of year, is the best. It’s so beautiful.’ Stefani and Shelton notably own a sprawling ranch located in rural Oklahoma which sits on around 1,300 acres. Back in 2022, the God’s Country singer opened up about his relationship with Stefani during an interview with The Good Dish. ‘We found each other at a very low point in each other’s lives. She kept me from going to the absolute bottom, you know?’ He added, ‘It was like literally falling off a cliff and a hand reached out and caught me is what it feels like.’

The performer further gushed, ‘I’ve never had that with somebody where it just felt like, no matter what, she has my back. It’s the greatest feeling ever.’ And back in April of this year, Stefani revealed the ‘best advice’ she has gotten since tying the knot with Shelton. ‘Best advice would probably be make sure you have a third party,’ she said on The Drew Barrymore Show. The singer pointed upwards as she made the comment, seemingly referencing to God. She then gave insight into her lowkey date nights with the country star. ‘I’m literally couch, blanket, chips. I just have the whole thing – the dogs down right there, and then we have two couches, and Blake’s on that couch, and we’re like, “Hi!”‘ Stefani then humorously added, ‘I would sit next to him but he’s gigantic, and we don’t fit anywhere.’ As 2025 winds down to a close, both she and Shelton have big plans for the following year – including Las Vegas concerts. Back in October, it was announced that her band No Doubt is set to reunite for a residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas. The group will take to the stage for six dates in May 2026 – while six additional dates were added the following month in June. And Shelton will hit the stage at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace for eight nights next month in January.
