McCarthy, in a tweet on SaturdayHe claimed Bragg was pursuing political vendetta against the former president and called on “relevant” committees to investigate the use of federal funds for Trump-linked investigations.
Jeffries, during the former White House press secretary just psakiit’s new msnbc program, said that he disagreed with McCarthy and assumed that the speaker was referring to the Armaments subcommittee of the House of the Federal Government that has held a number of dramatic hearings since its conception.

He added: “Instead of the House majority focusing on the economy (inflation, job creation and health care), they continue to sell conspiracy theories led by this so-called arms committee and the oversight committee, instead of dealing with to find common things. land with house democrats to try to improve the lives of ordinary Americans. But we are going to continue to put people above politics.”
Jeffries then praised the top Democrat on the gun committee Stacey Plaskett for pushing against WIZARD republicansHowever, he reflected on having a “positive and forward-thinking” relationship with McCarthy going forward.
“That does not mean that we are not going to totally disagree as we have with respect to the former president of the United States of America, who has been impeached twice,” he said.
