A man has suffered potentially life-changing injuries after being stabbed in broad daylight near a supermarket, police have said. The man, who is in his 20s, was rushed to hospital after being attacked shortly before 2pm on Saturday.
Wiltshire Police said three men are believed to have targeted the victim close to the car park of Tesco Extra on County Way, Trowbridge. The suspects then fled the scene.
An increased police presence is expected in the area while enquiries continue. Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

“If you witnessed the incident, or believe you may have seen the suspects before or after the incident, or have any CCTV or dashcam footage then please come forward. Anything you’re able to provide or tell us could assist us.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident log 154 of October 31. Alternatively, anonymous reports can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
