Rep. jared moskowitz (D-Fla.) sparked jokes about the chairman of the House Oversight Committee james eat (R-Ky.) while taking a dog out to sniff out a Biden family investigation informant the Republican claimed may have disappeared.”
Comer, who has claimed that the Bidens have been “influence peddling” and accumulated more than $10 million from foreign sources before the Biden administration, said foxnews viewers on Sunday that the informant cannot be traced just like republicans lack of evidence to back up their accusations about the president.
Moskowitz, part of the Democratic minority on the committee, took to Twitter to joke that his furry friend Stanley can help identify the whistleblower’s whereabouts.
“He lost the Biden hoax, he misplaced him, he doesn’t know where he is, so I brought a bloodhound and we’re going to try to find President Comer’s missing Biden hoax,” Moskowitz said before being led by a dog. through the corridors of the Longworth House office building.
Moskowitz trolled Comer this week about his latest update on the investigation. He shared a fake missing persons poster with a stick figure sketch of the “informant” on Monday.
The Democrat, on Tuesday, later criticized Comer over the whistleblower’s claim.
“I know you’ve got stuff going, you’re trying to find the missing false informant, I know you’re busy with it,” he said as he pointed to his stick figure sign.
“But I’m hoping that maybe the Oversight committee, if they’re that concerned about federal overreach, maybe they can start to focus on actual government oversight.”
Comer, in response to Moskowitz, clarified that a whistleblower was “alive and well.”
