London Fire Brigade was alerted to a fire in Aberdeen Place, north London, at 5.29am.
An electrical transformer and part of the roof of a neighbouring block of flats are alight
Forty people have been evacuated and about 100 firefighters are tackling the flames
There are no reports of any injuries
More than 170 calls were made to the Brigade’s call handlers to report the fire
The cause of the blaze isn’t known at this stage
