A lorry blaze will likely lead to significant hold-ups on a crucial link road between bustling UK motorways.
The Yorkshire slip road from the M18 southbound to the M1 southbound junction 32 has been shut due to the fire that broke out in the early hours of Tuesday, February 10, reports The Mirror.
Recovery efforts are in progress but National Highways caution that it “is expected to be complicated and protracted” and could extend well into the morning rush hour.
Motorists are being advised to consider alternative routes if feasible.
