Imran Khan Recalls Gori Tere Pyaar Mein Photoshoot With Kareena Kapoor: ‘There Was A Sense Of Comfort…’

Recently, Khan recalled the shoot of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and how he felt a sense of “comfort” and “optimism” while sharing screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film.

Imran Khan remembers the shooting of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein with a candid post

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning, Imran recalled the experience of filming the romantic comedy Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and working as a team with Kareena Kapoor Khan for the second time after Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, it brought him “comfort” and “optimism”. Stating that the film was launched with enthusiasm, she also shared that it was the second time she was working with the director. Punit Malhotra. Mentioning that the first schedule of the film, which was shot in Bengaluru, refreshed his memories of his school years, he said, “The Bengaluru shoot was a blast, particularly ‘Dhat Teri Ki’.”

“You may be surprised to know that most of the remaining scenes were shot on Film City Mumbai sets… the village set, in fact, was built on the same location that years earlier had been the site of the Mall Road set from Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander!,” Imran mentioned and added, “It was also conveniently located in front of the huge set built for OUATIM. “I remember filming ‘Tayyab Ali’ during the day and then removing my mustache while crossing the road to film night scenes for Gori.”

In the heartfelt post, Imran Khan called the summer of 2013 “very exhausting” as he juggled finishing Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara. However, he concluded by stating that he did have fun while shooting.

Notably, after appearing in the 2015 film Katti Batti, Imran suddenly disappeared from cinema leaving his fans disappointed. However, much to the delight of Imran Khan fans, Pinkvilla had earlier reported that he is in advanced talks with Abbas Tyrewala for an OTT venture, which will be a spy action drama series.
