Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan was summoned to appear before the country’s anti-corruption agency on Thursday, days after his attempts to detain him were struck down by courts.
The National Accountability Office sent a summons notice to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party leader on Tuesday night asking him to cooperate with its investigation into a land encroachment case, an NAB spokesman confirmed by phone. He was asked to provide certain documents and answer questions related to the allegations.
