India upholds respect for sovereignty, adherence to international law: Premier on China’s maritime assertiveness

Amid China’s military expansion in the South China Sea and East China Sea, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that India is committed to protecting its sovereignty and integrity while promoting the peaceful resolution of maritime disputes based on international law.
